Cell Structure-Important parts

Nucleus - controls the cells genetic materials
endoplasmic reticulum - network of membranes used for protein synthesis and transport
Rough ER - dotted with ribosomes
Smooth ER - same but missing ribosomes
Golgi Apparatus - modify, store and transport ER products, made of membrane sacks grouped together.
Mitochondria - considered the power generator, generate most of the cells supply of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP)
Centrosome - usually in pairs within the cell, the cell uses the centrioles for microtubule organization

All of these come together to help make a cell function. Without one part, the cell would not function. Between a plant cell and an animal cell there are two big differences 1) plant cells have a rigid cell wall sourrounding the it, helping it stay safe and live, 2) plant cells and any eukaryote that carries out photosynthesis, contain chloroplast structures that use energy from sunlight to "conserve free energy in the form of ATP and reduce NADP to NADPH through a complex set of processes called photosynthesis."

An eukaryote is - "is an organism whose cells contain complex structures enclosed withinmembranes." so basically all large complex organisms are eukaryotes.. the cells have a nucleus.
